Kitchen Design

Designed to work as well as it looks

The distance between the stove, sink and refrigerator directly determines how much time you spend in the kitchen. We design around the measurements and the storage volume you actually need.

What We Do

We start with the work triangle

The distance between the stove, sink and refrigerator — the work triangle — shapes how the kitchen is used every day. We optimise this triangle first, then build the cabinet layout and storage plan on top of it.

  • Work-triangle distances planned to ergonomic standards
  • Cabinet interior layout and storage volume sized to your needs
  • Counter height and depth adjusted for the person who uses it
  • Task lighting and ambient lighting planned as two separate layers

Frequently Asked

Common questions about kitchen design

An island generally needs at least 3 metres of clear circulation space around it. During the site visit we measure the existing plan and confirm whether an island would actually be comfortable to work around; if it doesn't fit, we suggest a half-island or an L-shaped alternative.
If you request it under turnkey scope, yes — we plan the sizing and placement around the cabinetry design from the start. If you'd rather use your own appliances, just share the dimensions with us.
It depends on how heavily the kitchen is used: for busy households we recommend quartz; for lighter use or a tighter budget, laminate or compact surfaces. The decision is made together during the site visit, based on your habits.
